1lbfresh green beans, washed and trimmed
1tablespoonolive oil or any cooking oil
2teaspoongarlic powder
¼teaspoonsalt or to taste
¼teaspoonpepper or to taste
½teaspoonchili flakes or to taste
Note: The seasoning amounts are approximate. Feel free to add more or less garlic powder, salt, pepper, or chili flakes to suit your taste.
Instructions
Wash and trim the green beans, then pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Place them in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil. Using a tong, toss to coat the green beans with the oil. Then season with the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Toss again until the green beans are evenly coated with the seasonings.
Transfer to the air fryer basket. Air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes. Don't worry if the basket is a little crowded. Shake it 2 to 3 times during cooking to help the green beans cook evenly. Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes if you prefer more blistered edges. Serve immediately.
Notes
Every air fryer cooks a little differently, so start checking the green beans around the 8-minute mark.
If your green beans are very thin, they'll cook faster.
It's ok to overcrowd the basket, just make sure to shake the basket 2-3 times in between cooking.
