Who does not love rotisserie chicken? This inexpensive oven-roasted chicken that you can conveniently buy from the grocery for 5 dollars (what a bargain!) is a constant hit to dinner in any given day.

May it be for casseroles, soups, salads or consumed on its own, this pre-cooked chicken saves you cooking time. That is why it's an all-time favorite item during a quick grocery run! Also, a great dinner option when you want to take a day off from cooking.

Rotisserie chicken is tasty and juicy as it is (especially the outer part!) but it's always nice to have something different to go with it on the sides.

Side dishes like simple sauteed veggies, corn, or some grains are great complementary dishes. If you are being generous, sides like salads, pastas and baked potatoes will turn the dinner table into a feast.

    Roasted Peppers and Onions

Onions and peppers are two of the most commonly roasted vegetables. They both have a slightly sweet and smoky flavor that becomes intensified when roasted. Roasting brings out the natural sugars in these vegetables, making them caramelized and delicious.

There are many ways to roast onions and peppers. You can do them separately or together, in a variety of different ways. One of my favorite combinations is roasting red onions with bell peppers. I like to slice the onions fairly thin so they cook quickly, and then add the bell peppers afterwards so they don’t get too charred.

There's nothing quite like a good macaroni salad to bring people together. It's the perfect dish for potlucks, picnics, and barbecues - everyone loves it! And there are endless possibilities for variations, so you can make it exactly the way you like it.

The key to a great macaroni salad is the dressing. You want something that's creamy and flavorful but not too heavy or greasy. My favorite recipe calls for mayo, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, salt and pepper. But feel free to experiment with different ingredients until you find what works best for you.

Once you've got the dressing sorted out, all you need is some cooked macaroni noodles and some chopped vegetables of your choice. I usually go with red onion, celery and green bell pepper but again, feel free to get creative! Just be sure to keep the proportions consistent so that your salad doesn't become too crowded or one-dimensional.
