Do you have leftover or stale bread at home and you have no idea what to do with it? Repurpose them into croutons!
Whenever I have leftover or stale sliced loaf bread, I make sure not to let them go to waste. I turn them into croutons. I love croutons on soup, I think they are just perfectly made for each other. They are good with salads too.
I recently made honey mustard chicken salad and adding croutons leveled up the crunch, texture, and flavor!

Some Notes
- I always recommend preheating the oven at the right temperature. If possible use an oven thermometer, otherwise preheat the oven for at least 15 minutes.
- You can make Italian seasoning from scratch using equal parts of the following dried and ground herbs: thyme, oregano, basil, rosemary, and marjoram. If you don't have all of these seasonings, blending any 2 of the above will do.
